Job Description: Should possess More than 4+years of experience as a dedicated Postgresql DBA and Developers. Designing and developing Postgresql Schema user and role with user security management Design and develop stored procedures, functions, views and triggers Debug and tune Postgresql query and Postgresql SQL Performance engineering Design, implement and maintain database objects (tables, views, indexes, and database security Experience working with Pg_dump/PSQL/Pg_Ctl/Pg_repack/Vacume and Analyse process/Index and partition implementation Experience Monitoring Database with PG_Admin Experience Monitoring Postgresql Jobs and fixing the Job failure if any Experience in Postgresql Performance Improvement by tuning stored procedures, functions or Jobs or tune postgresql.conf configuration parameter setting to improve overall DB performance tuning. Monitor and administration of Postgresql Db server in Linux and windows platforms Knowledge on Postgresql DB Installatoin and Upgrades of DBs Analyze and develop strategies and approaches to import and transfer data between source, staging, and destinations server Test and prepare ETL processes for deployment to production and non-production environments Testing, Continuous Deployment, Automated Testing, etc. Translate customer requirements into formal requirements and design documents, establish specific solutions, and leading the efforts. Provide day to day direction to the offshore team and regular status to the clients. Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work with diverse personality types across geographies Essential Skills: Experience working with Pg_dump/PSQL/Pg_Ctl/Pg_repack/Vacume and Analyse process/Index and partition implementation Experience Monitoring Database with PG_Admin Experience Monitoring Postgresql Jobs and fixing the Job failure if any The responsibilities of a DBRE include designing and implementing solutions to enhance the reliability and performance of databases, identifying and fixing issues within the DBMS, and developing and deploying process automation solutions.
