Job Title: Adabas DBA Location: Richardson, TX 75082 (Hybrid Working Model) Duration: 6 Months Job Details: o DB health check list for Day-to-Day Activities. o Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and performance of database systems. o On-Call Support: Participated in on-call rotation for database support and provided timely resolution of database-related issues. o Adabas Utilities: Use of utilities like AdaRep for database maintenance and reporting. o Design and implement Adabas databases to ensure optimal performance and scalability. o Develop and maintain database schemas, tables, and indexes. o Should have used efficient data compression techniques used by Adabas. o Implement and manage database replication using Adabas Replication and EntireX. o Monitor database performance using tools like Adabas Manager. o Develop and implement backup and recovery procedures using Adabas Backup and Recovery tools. o Optimize database performance through query optimization, indexing, and buffer pool management. o Use tools like Adabas Performance Monitor to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
