| Position: Sr. Network Engineer with Zscaler certification Location: Remote Duration: 12 months Contract Visa: USC/GC Rate: $ 5 0-$55 /Hr on C2C Required Certification: Zscaler certifications in Zscaler for Users SSE, Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA), Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) and/or Zero Trust Certified Associate (ZTCA) Cloud certifications ANS-CXX or equivalent Key Responsibilities: Manage our global network and key network components/platforms, such as Cloud Networks (AWS or Azure), switches, routers, VPNs, and firewalls, from a variety of vendors (e.g., Cisco). Craft and deploy strategies that ensure uninterrupted connectivity across the Cisco SD-WAN and Cloud network, enabling efficient communication and data exchange for users and applications regardless of their location. Implement timely and practical solutions to restore functionality. Continuously optimize network performance by fine-tuning configurations, analyzing traffic patterns, and implementing quality of service (QoS) policies to prioritize critical applications and deliver a superior user experience. Monitor the performance and capacity of key network locations and equipment daily. Manage and respond to network incidents, escalating problems to appropriate team members or vendors as required. Assist in audit & compliance activities by providing required evidence and input. Maintain network documentation, including configurations, cabling layouts, diagrams, and operational procedures and protocols. Participate in planning and implementing changes to the network, including the installation of new equipment, software updates, and configuration changes. Work collaboratively with other teams, departments, or vendors to ensure the network supports the organization&#XX;s needs. Demonstrate flexibility in your approach, remain level-headed under pressure, and communicate effectively at different levels and across regions. Adhere to strict deadlines and manage projects, including the installation and decommissioning of hardware. Must have: Must have min 8+ years of experience. Develop and maintain data processing applications using Spark and Scala. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design efficient solutions. Implement test-driven deployment practices to enhance the reliability of application. Deploy artifacts from lower to higher environment ensuring smooth transition Troubleshoot and debug Spark performance issues to ensure optimal data processing. Work in an agile environment, contributing to sprint planning, development and delivering high quality solutions on time Provide essential support for production batches, addressing issues and providing fix to meet critical business needs Skills/Competencies: Strong knowledge of Scala programming language Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Proficiency in Spark, including the development and optimization of Spark applications. Ability to troubleshoot and debug performance issues in Spark. Understanding of design patterns and data structure for efficient data processing Familiarity with database concepts and SQL * Java and Snowflake (Good to have). Experience with test-driven deployment practices (Good to have). Familiarity with Python (Good to have). Knowledge of Databricks (Good to have).
