Duration: 6+months MOI : Tele / F2F CLIENT WILL INTERVIEW CANDIDATES RIGHT AWAY! MUST HAVE UTILITIES EXPERIENCE, BE LOCAL , SCADA AND CONTROL ROOM AND GAS METERING SCADA. 2nd round will be F2F. Job description 2 control rooms, one in RYE NY location and one at VAN NEST Bronx , NY so candidate will spend the 3 days onsite make either location their preferred and as needed be able to drive one day a week MAY Be to the other location fluctuating between Rye and Bronx , but choosing one of the 2 as their base for the 3 days onsite Need someone local Putnam, Westchester , Rockland counties , lower CT, Bronx , Manhattan or nearby that zip code for RYE NY within driving distance . Must Have: Ability to work independently and exercise good judgement in a small team environment. AVEVA Enterprise SCADA (formerly OASyS DNA) baseline platform Comfortable with Hybrid work Fluent in all aspects of SCADA System Operation including: Gas Measurement Metering Historical Database data interfaces and reporting HMI display development In-depth Knowledge of RTU/PLC protocol (Modbus, DNP3, BSAP); Troubleshoot SCADA software and server issues Work closely with Field Technicians to configure, test, and troubleshoot data polling from the SCADA System to field RTUs. Ability to intrepid, modify and write scripts and SQL queries Clear communications to enable close coordination with Gas Control operators to ensure the SCADA system is always providing them the ability to safely operate the pipeline. Control room experience Experience in regulated operating environments Experience with building, configuring, developing and maintaining reports Experience of Cybersecurity Principles Experience of IT principles and Technology Experience of related utility industry field operations Process documentation development skills capture workflows, changes, change approvals, change submission. Programming of wireless modems (Sierra Wireless and Digi .etc) Responsibilities : Maintaining currency with latest trends in automation designs and equipment for the Gas industry Realtime Database implementation Work with Gas Control operators to make sure the SCADA system is always providing them the ability to safely operate the pipeline. Program wireless modems (Sierra Wireless and Digi) Build, configure, and maintain reports Document changes, obtain required approvals, and submit changes Knowledge of RTU/PLC protocol (Modbus, DNP3, BSAP) Ability to write simple scripts and SQL queries Ability to work independently and exercise good judgement in a small team environment.
