Job Description Description: Responsibilities: Own, oversee, and drive technical solutions design based on business requirements. Hands-on technical leadership of software engineers focused on API enablement technical architecture, design, development, and delivery Act as liaison between the customer community and the software development team. Evaluate the information from multiple sources to develop an understanding of the clients business requests and needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. Define high-level application platform architectural guidelines and articulate reasoning and trade-offs for choices to business owners Displays outward thinking, develops strategies for the full software development life cycle of new and emerging technologies, and demonstrates the viability Technical mentoring to improve the analytical and technical skills of team members. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in Rest Architecture 5+ years of experience designing and building solutions around open APIs Significant technical experience as a software developer, software development lead, technical lead, technical architect, or related role Strong knowledge of designing architectural solutions Strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of application development lifecycle, microservices architecture best practices, and DevOps foundations. Experience with JSON, XML, Unit Testing (JUnit, Mockito, etc.), Maven, GIT, etc. Possesses motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment Bachelors degree in engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field Nice to have: TOGAF or similar Enterprise Architecture certification Experience working with financial/Utilities Industries.
