| Key Responsibilities:Platform Management & Automation Support the continuous development, upgrading, and automation of application servers, focusing on security patches, configuration management, and performance. Implement and maintain automated systems for provisioning, managing, and supporting cloud-based systems and services. Address inter-system communication issues and platform-level challenges to ensure seamless operations.Continuous Integration and Testing Support and extend CI/CD pipelines to improve software delivery velocity and quality. Utilize cloud capabilities, such as elastic storage and computing, to enhance scalability and performance in testing and deployment environments.Security & IAM Tackle platform security challenges, including secrets management, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and integration with evolving security controls. Implement automated patching systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.Generative AI Integration Experiment with generative AI tools (e.g., Amazon Bedrock, Amazon CodeGuru) to identify security vulnerabilities and improve code quality. Implement AI-driven solutions (like Auto Remediation using tools such as AI CO-Pilot or Q Developer) to detect and resolve application vulnerabilities in real-time.Continuous Improvement & Custom Code Development Drive continuous improvements in platform performance, scalability, and security through custom code development. Collaborate with other teams to identify areas for automation and optimization using cloud and DevOps toolsets.Cloud Platforms & Automation AWS Cloud Services: Proficiency in AWS (especially with services like EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, and Elastic Load Balancer). Cloud Automation Tools: Experience with AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. DevOps Tools: Experience with GitLab CI, Bamboo, or other CI/CD tools. Elastic Storage & Computing: Experience in dynamically scaling storage and computing resources on the cloud.Security & Platform Engineering IAM and Security: Strong understanding of IAM, secrets management (e.g., AWS Secrets Manager, HashiCorp Vault), and automated security patching. Platform Security: Familiarity with securing platform infrastructure, especially in compliance-heavy environments (such as HIPAA). Vulnerability Remediation: Knowledge of security tools like AWS Inspector and experience with automated vulnerability detection and remediation.AI Tools & Code Improvement Amazon Bedrock & Amazon CodeGuru: Experience with AI tools for code analysis and security improvements. Auto Remediation Tools: Familiarity with tools like AI CO-Pilot, Q Developer, or similar for auto-remediation and continuous monitoring.Programming & Automation Scripting Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Go for developing custom automation scripts. Experience integrating AI-based solutions into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).Monitoring & Incident Response Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Datadog for real-time performance monitoring. Ability to automate response workflows to minimize downtime and ensure quick resolution of issues.
