Job Title: Cloud Database Engineer Location: San Antonio, TX or Irvine, CA (Hybrid) Duration: Long-Term Contract Qualifications: Bachelor's or masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 12+ years of Proven experience as a Database Engineer or similar role with a strong focus on cloud environments. Expertise in SQL Server, Always On clusters, and secondary databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) with automation skills (Python, Terraform). Extensive knowledge of database technologies, especially Postgres, and familiarity with AWS cloud services. Proficient in using IAM, EC2, RDS, S3, and observability tools like Splunk and Datadog. Strong programming skills in Python and experience with Terraform. Experience working in an Agile environment. Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills. Optional: Experience with Oracle and SQL Server is a plus.
