Top Skills: - Linux System Administrative experience - VMware - Redhat - Top Secret Clearance (required to qualify) Job Description: - Provide technical support, administration, and monitoring of Linux, Microsoft, and Mac systems within a VMware virtual environment. - Implement, troubleshoot, and maintain IT systems, distinguishing isolated user problems from enterprise-wide issues. - Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to develop and implement solutions for incident tickets and requirements. - Develop solutions to complex technical issues and provide follow-up reports for Root Cause analysis and process improvement. - Support customer requirements in a 24/7/365 environment, including on-call support during after-hours outages. - Update operations and monitoring documentation for 24/7/365 Operations Watch personnel. Additional Skills & Qualifications: - Familiarity with Hyper Converged Infrastructure (HCI) concepts and solutions such as Dell VXRail. - Experience with Tier 2 system administration of server operating systems (Linux, Microsoft Server). - Scripting/Automation experience (Linux Shell scripts, PowerShell, PowerCLI). - Strong troubleshooting, log review, and incident analysis skills. - Time management skills and ability to work independently within an IT -- - - Service Management/ticketing system (ServiceNow). - Strong oral and written communication skills. - Team player with a track record of effective collaboration. Requirements: - Bachelors Degree with 5-6 years of relevant experience or a Masters Degree with 4 years of relevant experience. (Years of experience may be used in lieu of a degree.) - DoD 8570.11- IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, or SSCP). - Certifications in VMware (VCA/VCP), Microsoft Server Administration (MCSA), Linux Administration (Linux+), or Mac Administration (ACSP) are a plus.
