Please find the below Job description and send the suitable resume to [email protected] Job Title: GIS Tech Lead Location: Louisville, KY (Hybrid) Duration: Long term contract Job Description : The Technical Lead will collaborate closely with the Senior GIS Manager to identify workflow improvements, track performance indicators, and gather customer feedback. Additionally, this individual will mentor GIS analysts to enhance their skills with ESRI desktop and online applications, providing guidance on daily activities and workflow distribution. Responsibilities Serve as the product owner, utilizing programming languages such as Python and SQL to improve workflows and daily operations, fostering departmental improvements and opportunities. Create, manage, and maintain both historical and current trade area polygons using ESRI ArcGIS applications. Review and accurately geocode new road networks for integration into mapping systems or report issues to data providers. Support team members' professional growth by providing assistance, training, and constructive feedback. Lead process improvement initiatives to optimize workflows. Assist the team in completing new or existing orders. Produce ad-hoc maps for special projects or requests. Collaborate cross-functionally with Development teams to identify potential technical synergies across platforms. Partner with external vendors, internal teams, and customers to achieve project goals. Oversee testing of application changes and enhancements. Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
