Candidate will be remote and be ready to travel to Michigan when required. Job Description: This position will be part of the IERP API Enablement and Enhancements teams in the Enterprise Architecture Foundational Products group and this team is responsible to provide API Enablement and Enhancements development services using ABAP programming and ODATA services in S4 HANA. Skills Required: S4 HANA ABAP 7.5 ODATA API RICEFW CDS/AMDP Skills Preferred: Agile methodology BTP Fiori/UI5 RAP CAP SAP RISE Experience Required: 7 to 8 years of experience in ABAP programming with at least 2 full lifecycle ERP implementation projects Experience Preferred: Experience in BTP and Cloud integration Below are the high-level roles and responsibilities: Design and develop APIs to connect to SAP/Non-SAP using RFC, ALE/IDOCs, Output Programming using SAP Script, Smart forms, Adobe Forms. Integration with Non-SAP systems using Web Services/Proxies/APIs. Experience designing and maintaining Core Data Services (CDS) views and AMDP classes. Enhancing SAP system using BADIs, User exits, Customer exits and enhancement framework options Build RICEFWs (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms, and Workflows) Experience with IDOC and API Integrations using OData API, SOAP API and IDOC as XML. Good understanding of XML, JSON, SOAP, API and REST Web services Performance Tuning, problem solving skills and Debugging/Defect Management Strong experience in ABAP programming and development of ODATA services (preferably OOPS based).
