3. Proven experience in data quality management, including the development and implementation of data quality standards, processes, and procedures.

Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:

Define and operate the data governance policies that support multiple data domains.

Implement the data governance program vision using Microsoft Purview, Databrick Unity Catalog and Profisee, promoting the role of governance and enforcing policy, while following data governance best practices.

Develop and communicate Data Governance policies to all relevant stakeholders, and provide training and guidance as needed in concert with our Highland Academy team.

Provide authority for all Data Governance oversight and support for Asset Management to ensure awareness across the organization and drive decisions for data standards and policies.

Understand various data storage solutions, including extract, load and transform technologies built using our Databricks Lakehouse architecture on Microsoft Azure, working with the Data Engineering team as needed.

Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists and business units to help solve their analytical needs and ensure data quality and consistency.

Oversee the processes, policies, and standards organizations use to manage their data, and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations and requirements.

Monitor and measure the effectiveness and maturity of the data governance program, and report on key performance indicators and metrics.

Identify and implement opportunities for improvement and innovation in data governance.

Socialize and Educate data governance policies and practices across the organization.

Monitor and assess the effectiveness of data governance standards and procedures.

Define data quality metrics and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors degree in computer science or, Information Systems.

6+ years experience in data governance, data integration, and data management.

In-depth understanding of data compliance, security, and privacy regulations (CCPA, GDPR, etc).

Proven experience in data quality management, including the development and implementation of data quality standards, processes, and procedures.

Demonstrated knowledge of SQL.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Highly independent; can own & drive meaningful and sophisticated tracks of work.

Ability to work cross-functionally and build trust with multi-functional teams.

Comfortable operating in constantly evolving environments and creating clarity out of ambiguity.

Client is looking for a Data Governance that can work side by side with all stake holders ensuring strong data governance protocol across the business. They'll be working side by side with the Director of Data Analytics for 6-8 months with the expectation to fully be self-sufficient in execution of their role and responsibilities.

Successful completion of Enterprise model. Data pipelines for Online Desing Centre and Higharc.
