The ideal candidate will possess in-depth technical expertise in MDM platforms and processes and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality data management practices. This role involves setting up MDM architectures, creating data governance frameworks, and ensuring seamless integration of master data across various systems.Key Responsibilities: Architect MDM Solutions: Design and implement scalable MDM solutions that support data quality, data integration, and master data governance across the organization. Platform Expertise: Leverage industry-leading MDM platforms (e.g., Informatica MDM, IBM InfoSphere, Oracle MDM, etc.) to optimize data management processes. Data Governance: Define and implement data governance frameworks to ensure consistent data quality, security, and compliance standards are met. Integration: Oversee the integration of master data from multiple source systems and ensure harmonization across applications like ERP, CRM, and other business systems. System Design & Architecture: Develop MDM system architecture, including data models, hierarchies, metadata, and workflows. Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, data stewards, data architects, and development teams to ensure MDM solutions meet business requirements and are effectively integrated with existing systems. Process Optimization: Identify and drive improvements in data quality, data stewardship, and MDM processes. Compliance & Security: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices for data security and privacy. Documentation: Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, data dictionaries, and process flows related to MDM architecture and implementation.Qualifications: Experience: 7+ years of experience in data management, with a focus on MDM architecture, implementation, and integration. Technical Skills: Expertise in MDM platforms such as Informatica MDM, IBM InfoSphere MDM, SAP MDG, or similar tools. Strong knowledge of data modeling, data integration, and ETL tools. Familiarity with cloud platforms and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for data management. Proficiency in SQL and other database management systems (DBMS). Experience with data governance, data stewardship, and data quality frameworks. Soft Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with both technical and non-technical teams. Ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into MDM architecture. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Certifications: Preferred certifications in MDM tools (e.g., Informatica Certified MDM Architect) or cloud platforms.Preferred: Prior experience with data governance tools and frameworks (e.g., Collibra, Alation).
