Write clean, well-documented, reusable code using Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles. Design and implement key product features. Review code written by peers and participate in pair programming. Contribute to architectural discussions and propose solutions for improvement. Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to groom user stories and define acceptance criteria. Share knowledge in developer forums like dev shares, code dojos, and lightning talks. Other duties as assigned. Position Requirements (Qualifications): Education: Bachelors degree in computer science or related field; masters degree preferred. Experience: 15-20 years of enterprise software development experience with deep knowledge of Java and frameworks like Spring. 5+ years of experience building and maintaining enterprise SaaS web applications. Experience in designing and implementing microservices. Skills: Expertise in Java language, concurrency, multithreading, and JVM internals. Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and workload management. Knowledge of ORM tools like Hibernate. Strong proficiency in SQL and database interaction optimization. Understanding of security principles and secure coding practices. Experience with SOA, REST, SOAP, and application servers like Tomcat. Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and JavaScript frameworks is a plus.
