The ideal candidate will have strong experience in developing backend services and APIs using Python, expertise in AWS Glue and PySpark for data processing, and hands-on experience with SQL and PostgreSQL databases. You will be responsible for building and managing scalable, high-performance applications on AWS and collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust solutions. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain API services using Python. Design and manage ETL pipelines using AWS Glue and PySpark. Work with SQL and PostgreSQL databases for data storage and retrieval. Collaborate with product managers and developers to define, design, and ship new features. Implement best practices for data engineering and data pipelines on AWS. Manage AWS resources and optimize the performance of applications using AWS cloud technologies. Perform unit testing, code reviews, and debugging to ensure code quality. Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of backend services and applications. Work closely with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and other team members for seamless integration. Required Skills and Qualifications: 3+ years of hands-on experience in Python development. Strong experience with AWS services, particularly AWS Glue, Lambda, EC2, and S3. Expertise in PySpark for data processing and transformation. Proven experience in designing and implementing ETL processes. Proficient in SQL and PostgreSQL databases. Experience with API development and RESTful services. Familiarity with version control tools such as Git. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
