Key Responsibilities: - Maintain and troubleshoot existing AWS infrastructure automation using Terraform and CloudFormation - Manage Git-based workflows and automation pipelines, with a strong understanding of Git operations - Provide support for the team's Windows AMI (Amazon Machine Image) build and update processes, including some PowerShell scripting - Assist with the transition from Splunk to the internal Pathfinder monitoring and alerting platform - Suggest improvements and enhancements to existing automation and workflows Required Skills and Experience: - Proficient in AWS infrastructure as code using Terraform and CloudFormation - Excellent understanding of Git workflows and automation pipelines (e.g., GitLab, GitHub) - Familiarity with Python for automation tasks (ability to read and modify scripts) - Experience with Windows system administration and PowerShell (a plus) - Knowledge of Splunk and familiarity with monitoring/alerting platforms (a plus) - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Recruiter Notes: - This is long term contract to backfill a team member who previously managed the Windows AMI and Splunk development tasks. - The team is currently 5 members, with a new full-time intern joining, so the team size will be 6 in total. - The team uses a hybrid work model, with team members expected to be in the office 2 days per week. - The interview process includes a technical screening using an AWS sandbox for hands-on experience, followed by an informal conversation.
