Senior BA will (but not limited to): Provide a comprehensive, independent evaluation of existing efforts. Support requirements elicitation, prioritization, validation, and documentation. Document process changes as needed for improved business processes: Participate in the planning, conducting, and evaluation of testing activities. Provide guidance and serve as a liaison between the development team, vendor, and project stakeholders to report and resolve issues. Provide meeting agendas and meeting minutes for specified meetings. Support the creation and submission of project documentation and coordinate approval of all documentation. Assist with implementation support and outcome documentation. Be knowledgeable of, adhere to, and contribute to established digital accessibility regulations and standards. The Senior BA will perform various testing and validation activities surrounding the Find My Ride (FMR) iterative releases as agreed upon by the projects governance team. The Senior BA will perform the following testing support activities: Create test scripts. Prepare test data. Execute and support user acceptance testing (UAT). Coordinates and tests accessibility conformance. Document testing outcomes, identify gaps, and report system defects and issues. Collaborate and triage found issues and track to ensure timely resolution. The Senior BA will compile testing documentation into reports that include various documents such as: Test Scripts and Outcomes Reports. The Senior BA will provide design and implementation support services surrounding the implementation of Find My Ride (FMR) releases. Sample services include: Supporting Go-Live activities. Capturing and communicating implementation schedule changes. Updating project documentation based on implementation outcomes. Maintain work products and track modifications through the BA Services documentation change management processes. The Senior BA will compile implementation documentation into Implementation Outcome Reports that include various documents such as: Session Notes. Requirements Change Management Reports. Recommendations for subsequent Go-Live planning. Senior Business Analyst level is defined as: Five or more years of business analysis experience. Capable of applying the listed knowledge, skill, competency, or performing the activity independent of supervision. Able to instruct and mentor others in the exercise or performance of the business analysis responsibilities. Mastery of industry standards and best practices for the business analysis responsibilities with the ability to contribute improvements to the practice. Experience and/or familiarity with agile development methodologies is preferred, but not required. Preparing project management artifacts within a defined project management framework. Organizing, leading and documenting meetings with stakeholders at multiple levels. Business process definition, documentation and engineering. Knowledge of software usability concepts and requirements traceability, and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process. Strong SQL query knowledge Create, Read, Update, Delete Experience in writing and executing tests automation using UFT Strong knowledge of ALM Test Management tool for writing test scenarios, execution and maintaining test artifacts Strong knowledge of JIRA project Management tool Experience in conducting API Testing and automation using Postman, SOAPUI, JMETER or similar. Knowledge and experience with load testing using Loadrunner, LRE Knowledge and experience working with HL7 messages Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming. Job Requirements Experience in writing and executing test cases, as well as creating test plans. Knowledge of software usability concepts and requirements traceability, and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process. Strong QA automation testing and scripting experience using UFT (Unified Functional Testing tool). Strong knowledge of complex SQL query writing for database validation. Strong knowledge and experience with ALM Test Management tool and JIRA. Proficient in defect tracking and management using tools such as ALM and Jira. Strong knowledge and experienced in Load testing using Loadrunner and LRE. knowledge and experience working on HL7 FHIR is preferred. Good hands-on experience with API Testing using Postman, SOAPUI, JMETER, and similar. Knowledge and experience working with a scrum team in an agile environment to deliver software release sprints for HHSC, on time, with a focus on quality using Jira and SharePoint. Experience working on different types of testing: e.g., unit, integration, regression, smoke, user acceptance, system, stress, and load/performance. Ability to effectively organize and present complex technical information, both orally and in writing. Ability to effectively work both independently and with sprint development team members. Ability to work under pressure under tight time constraints. Be self-driven, helping the team achieve goals and overall project delivery milestones. Skill communicating with varied levels of staff and end users to develop positive and effective working relationships. Ability to assist by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems, or questions about programs and handling multiple projects. Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming preferred. Experience working with the State of Texas HHS agency and system preferred.
