Role: Sr. AWS Engineer/Architect (Redshift) Location: St. Louis, MO (Onsite) Type of Hiring: Contract Detailed Description We are seeking an experienced AWS Engineer / AWS Redshift SQL Architect to design and optimize cloud-based data architecture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS services, especially Redshift, and expertise in SQL-based data solutions. You will be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing scalable, high-performance data systems. Qualifications Experience: 8+ years of experience working with AWS services, particularly Redshift, and designing scalable data architectures. SQL Proficiency: Strong expertise in SQL query design and optimization. Cloud Technologies: Hands-on experience with other AWS services, such as EC2, S3, Lambda, Glue, and Athena. Data Warehousing: Extensive experience in building and maintaining large-scale data warehouses and data lakes. ETL/ELT Tools: Experience with ETL/ELT tools like AWS Glue, Informatica, or Talend. Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on troubleshooting and performance tuning. Security: Knowledge of data security practices and compliance standards, including IAM roles, data encryption, and auditing.
