Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute automated tests using the Espresso framework for Android applications. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand the requirements and develop comprehensive test plans. Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing on mobile applications. Identify, document, and track bugs and work closely with the development team to ensure resolution. Participate in code reviews to ensure testability and maintainability of automation scripts. Work with CI/CD tools to integrate automated testing into the development process. Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks and scripts. Conduct manual testing when required for more intricate test cases. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in mobile application testing. Strong experience with the Espresso testing framework. Proficiency in Java/Kotlin for writing test scripts. Knowledge of Android SDK and understanding of Android architecture. Familiarity with testing frameworks like JUnit. Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab). Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
