Job Title: Data Engineer (Contractor) Location: Remote Type: Contract Rate: $60/hr - $65/hr c2c. USC/GC/H4-EAD Must have valid linked in Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Oracle databases, PL/SQL, and Amazon Redshift, along with recent experience in cloud environments. This role will focus on designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines and solutions that support our data analytics and reporting needs. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Oracle and Redshift. Write efficient and optimized PL/SQL scripts for data manipulation and extraction. Collaborate with data analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes. Optimize existing data workflows for performance and scalability in cloud environments. Monitor and troubleshoot data issues, providing timely resolutions to maintain smooth operations. Document data architecture, processes, and workflows to support knowledge sharing and onboarding. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role. Strong proficiency in Oracle databases and PL/SQL. Hands-on experience with Amazon Redshift and data warehousing concepts. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and their data services. Knowledge of data modeling and ETL processes. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with other cloud data services (e.g., Google Cloud, Azure).
