| Location: Reading, PA (within 40 miles of Reading) Job profile: Performance Testing Engineer Location: Reading, PA (within 40 miles of Reading) Visa: NO H-1B Duration: 6 month Client: Penske Truck Leasing Overview: We are seeking an experienced Performance Testing Engineer with 7+ years of experience in performance testing. The ideal candidate will lead geographically diverse teams and collaborate across departments to drive testing strategies, improve product performance, and ensure smooth application/system operations. Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute performance testing initiatives for mission-critical applications. Develop and implement non-functional requirements and test strategies. Collaborate with application teams, system admins, and QA to optimize testing processes and ensure data accuracy. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and recommend system improvements. Manage and maintain regression performance test suites and ensure efficient execution. Tools: Expertise in LoadRunner, JMeter, cloud-based tools, APM tools, and simulators. Experience with networking, virtualization, distributed systems, container platforms, and cloud technologies. Required Skills: Proficiency with Windows, Unix, and Linux OS and basic SQL knowledge. Strong understanding of Agile testing and ability to work closely with Agile teams. Experience in load testing types: Smoke, Endurance, Volume, and more. Hands-on experience with APM tools, workload modeling, and performance test strategy development. Qualifications: Proven leadership in geographically distributed teams and ability to mentor junior team members.
