Job Title: Big Data Engineer with Data Science Work Location: Sunnyvale, CA 94085 & Austin, TX 78728 (Onsite) Duration: Long Term Must Have: Primary Skill PySpark, SQL Python/Scala Secondary Skill ML Domain knowledge, LLM Job Description: In the role of Lead Data Engineer, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. You will be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued. Required Qualifications: At least 6 years of experience in Information Technology. At least 3 years of hands on experience with Hadoop distributed frameworks while handling large amount of big data using Spark and Hadoop Ecosystems. At least 3 years of experience with Spark/PySpark required. At least 2 years of experience with Python/Scala required. At least 3 years of experience with SQL with any RDBMS. At least 1 year of Data Science experience Preferred Qualifications: At least 1 years of AWS development experience is preferred Ability to work within deadlines and effectively prioritize and execute on tasks. Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with ability to communicate across teams, internal and external at all levels. Experience in Drive automations DevOps Knowledge is an added advantage.
