Position : Scrum Master Location : Cambridge, MA (Must be onsite 1 week a month) Duration : 6+12 Months Contract JOB DESCRIPTION Technical Scrum Master, Jira, Clinical Trial Must Haves: Needs a SAFe Certified Scrum Master Recent Pharma and Clinical experience (Must be Recent) Should have some Project Management Facilitate SAFe Scrum procedures and events, enabling team maturity and effectiveness through data-driven metrics. Create an agile mentality with an emphasis on agile value and principles, leading to transparency, inspection, and adaptation, culminating in the delivery of high value increments that fulfill the definition of done. Act as a Change Agent with a passion for helping teams alter their habits towards an agile environment. Facilitate & Coach teams to create sprint goals, PI Goals, extensive product backlogs, US Grooming, acceptance criteria, and definitions of done/ready. Facilitate program-level agile rituals, including dependency mapping, release planning, and scope alignment among project streams. Define and clarify project scope and objectives, ensuring alignment and collaboration across multiple teams and departments within the organization. Manage projects effectively, including scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk, to ensure successful project delivery. Provide clear and concise project updates to stakeholders, create comprehensive documentation, and track key performance indicators. Enable the elimination of obstacles to the Scrum Team's progress. Responsible for project co-ordination and project governance for small projects Improve team communication and collaboration, including stakeholder participation, while minimizing distractions. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in IT project management, specifically as a Scrum Master/and PM for at least 3+ years, and 2+ years of experience in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment. In-depth understanding of SAFe Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and a proven history of successfully delivering Agile projects. Proficient in setting up Agile dashboards to track key metrics, with expertise in Agile reporting and dashboard management. Required Certification: SAFe Scrum Master (or higher). Preferred Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent. Strong knowledge of best practices in value-driven development, including requirements management, prototyping, and testing. Expert-level proficiency in Agile tool suites, especially Atlassian tools, with JIRA administration experience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders across all levels.
