This role combines functional expertise in SAP FICO with leadership responsibilities, ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of SAP projects within scope, timeline, and budget. Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end SAP FICO implementation and upgrade projects. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and work breakdown structures. Manage project risks, issues, and change requests. Monitor and report on project progress to senior management and stakeholders. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Provide hands-on functional expertise in SAP FICO (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis, etc.). Lead workshops to gather and document business requirements. Design and configure SAP FICO solutions to meet business requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD). Assist in data migration, cutover planning, and go-live support. Provide post-go-live support and troubleshooting. Act as the primary point of contact between the business and the SAP project team. Manage relationships with business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment. Facilitate discussions to resolve conflicts and address business needs. Lead and mentor a team of SAP consultants and developers. Collaborate with functional and technical teams to deliver cohesive solutions. Provide guidance and coaching to team members to enhance their skills and performance. Create and maintain project documentation including blueprints, test scripts, and user manuals. Train end users and business process owners on SAP FICO functionalities. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. SAP FICO certification is preferred. Experience: 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO module implementation and configuration. 3+ years of project management experience in SAP projects, with a focus on SAP FICO. Experience in full project lifecycle, from blueprint to post-go-live support. Strong understanding of accounting and financial processes, including statutory and regulatory requirements. Skills: Expertise in SAP FICO modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Controlling, etc.). Knowledge of SAP integration with other modules (MM, SD, PP). Strong project management skills, including proficiency with PM methodologies (Agile, Waterfall). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines. Leadership and team management capabilities. Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Proficient in project management tools (MS Project, Jira, etc.). Preferred Qualifications: SAP Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP or SAP Activate). Experience with SAP S/4HANA. Previous experience in finance/accounting roles is a plus.
