From: sankar, oceanblue [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role : Application systems Analyst Location : Remote Job Description As an application analyst for the fuel team, they will have the opportunity to help design, build, test, support, and have a direct and meaningful effect on the fuel platform and customer experience. They will be responsible for maintaining our applications for fuel to ensure our customers can always purchase fuel at one of our fuel centers. The team supports third party software provided by Kalibrate, Axxis, Additech, PDI, Fuel Web Delivery, and Inform/Titan. The team works on all future feature/functionality enhancements and projects, provides QA resource testing of periodic software upgrades, deploys software, and works with business to ensure the best customer experience. Will be collaborating with SPG Operations, Fuel Technology Team, Fuel Product Team, Database Team, CIS Team, Network Team, Kalibrate, Axxis, Additech, PDI, and Inform/Titan Interview will evaluate - SQL experience around query statements, store procedures, scheduled jobs. VB (Visual Basic) scripting, Computer Language skills, Web page knowledge, Power BI, Azure cloud, Windows OS. Any knowledge of these vendors platforms; NCR, Toshiba, Dover, Kalibrate, Axxis, Additech, PDI, and Inform/Titan. Critical thinking questions on handling specific situations. Qualifications: At least 3 years of experience in C-Store or Hypermarket fuel environment Must have experience in SQL Written SQL query statements, store procedures, scheduled jobs Have VB (Visual Basic) scripting Have knowledge on Computer language Have knowledge in Windows and Windows Servers Able to navigate the Windows OS Support different versions of Windows OS Knowledge of Inform/Titan application Knowledge of Axxis and PDI applications Knowledge of the Fuel Web Delivery and Logistics Knowledge of the Veeder Root and Franklin tank monitoring systems Understanding of Web pages, Power BI, Azure Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex logs Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Working knowledge of Microsoft office tools Inconsistent/flexible schedule Note to Vendors: Top skills - Fuel Procurement experience, Azure and SQL - Be able to read and interpret complex logs, and experience working with a database team Project - Supporting team for technology for fuel stations, Fuel Procurement Team, **Work Location - Hutchison Kansas is amazing, definitely would be first choice, next would like Cincy, but okay with remote. Please highlight if candidate is near Kansas location Travel - If remote, possible initial trip to Hutchison Kansas first week on job to meet team and learn role, after that, no travel Working hours- Ideally central time zone Interview - 1hr panel interview Start date - Middle or end of October Prescreening - 5 behavioral questions, scores can carry over, HM will be watching videos as a first-round step to interview process! 30-60-90 day breakdown: 30 days - will be shadowing fellow associate (onboarding buddy) as they get acclimated to the fuel team and our culture. Complete all onboarding paperwork and classes. The buddy will work with the new associate to setup their laptop and get them access needed for fuel applications. The buddy will then begin to introduce the new fuel associate to the fuel applications as it pertains to the Kroger environment. There will be a daily 1:1 training session, shadowing support calls, learning quality assurance and our testing regime, and help establish the new associates networking system. Meet weekly with the Engineering manager to ensure successful onboarding and goal setting. 60 days Ensure associate is comfortable and has an understanding of these Kroger applications needed on a daily basis; The Feed, MyInfo, Jira, Service Now, People finder, Oneview, Klera, Key, etc. Introduce associate to the Career track guide and begin their development in Pluralsight and MyInfo training. Associate continues to shadow their buddy to deepen their knowledge of Kroger technology and the fuel applications. Daily 1:1 session will continue to strengthen their knowledge of Kroger processes, standards, PCI guidelines, and policies. They will continue their shadowing of support calls to understand the urgency and frequency of different types of issues that arise. This will help train them into being a critical thinker for on-the-spot support resolution. Introduce the associate to the quarterly OKRs that are set by the company, pillar, and team. Setup the associate with OKRs in MyInfo and set expectations for the remainder of the year. Continue with weekly meetings with engineering manager to ensure growth and development. 90 days - Assign associate areas of responsibilities that they will be responsible for on a daily basis. Associate will be put on the rotation for on call support with their buddy shadowing them in case they need assistance. Associate will start to attend project calls so they can begin to learn the process for enhancements and vendor upgrades. Associate will continue to meet with the manager on a weekly 1:1 basis to ensure expectations and timelines are being met.
