| Title: Information Security Specialist Cyber Security Visa: USC, GC Location: Remote with onsite twice a week in (Mt Laurel or Cherry Hill NJ Philly Area)-MUST BE LOCAL End Client: Banking Domain Job Description: Reports to the Senior Manager of Strategic Initiatives within the Technology Operational Resilience team. This team is building a repository of all documentation for the bank of their security initiatives. They will be communicating with teams across the bank building and pulling together the documentation, and creating the security strategy and policies. Develop and manage comprehensive security strategies, policies, and programs to assess, prioritize, and mitigate business risk with technology controls. Areas of priority include mitigating and managing cyber security threats, ensuring systems availability, aligning with global regulatory risk and compliance requirements, partnering with businesses for better delivery of technology through advice and guidance on technology controls. Create and manage cyber security strategy, programs and execution including threat management services such as threat response, security incident management, and threat intelligence etc. Provide expertise for cyber security technical and non-technical solutions; review and provide guidance enabling business system delivery in a manner that adheres to information security policy. Responsible for protecting the Bank, customers, and employees by mitigating and identifying technology threats to the bank. Govern network-related security controls throughout the enterprise, firewall programs, intrusion detection and prevention systems, network data leakage prevention, secure email encryption, and web content filtering. Define, develop and/or implement Technology Controls / Information Security related policies, programs, tools. Provide specialized expertise and guidance on assessing risks, identifying potential gaps and providing security solutions to mitigate risks and protect the Bank. May participate on projects of moderate to high complexity and provide complex reporting, analysis, and assessments at the functional, business line or enterprise level for own area. Qualifications: Experience in developing cyber security/technology strategies, policies, and controls. Expert knowledge of IT security and risk disciplines and practices 7+ years of relevant experience in cyber security. 7+ years of relevant experience in Information technology. Experience working in large financial institutions. University degree. Information security certification / accreditation an asset.
