| Job Description: GCP Cloud EngineerDevOps not Data engineer Note: We have multiple opening for cloud engineer (security, infra, platform etc) Send Devops candidate expert in the GCP not AWS About the Role: As a GCP Cloud Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure that supports our business objectives. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions on GCP, leveraging infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager. Migrate existing applications and workloads to GCP, optimizing performance and cost-efficiency. Manage and optimize cloud resources, including compute instances, storage, networking, and database services. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and testing processes. Ensure the security and compliance of cloud environments, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to GCP infrastructure and applications. Collaborate with development teams to provide guidance on cloud architecture and best practices. Stay updated on the latest GCP features and technologies to drive innovation and efficiency. Required Skills and Experience: Strong proficiency in GCP services and technologies, including Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Networking. Experience with IaC tools like Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager. Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation. Understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR). Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD). Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills and Experience: GCP certifications (e.g., Associate Cloud Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect). Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of data engineering and analytics tools (e.g., Dataflow, Dataproc).
