The BA will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of systems and applications that enable the smart building to operate efficiently for its users. Key Responsibilities: Facilitate user requirement sessions and gather comprehensive information from stakeholders and teams. Analyze high-level business processes, focusing on how different systems and applications will interact within the smart building. Collaborate with teams to shape an MVP and guide the project through iterative development cycles using Agile methodologies. Create detailed documentation, including process flows, user stories, and system interactions, with strong skills in Visio. Lead workshops and guide business stakeholders through decision-making processes. Work onsite 5 days per week to fully immerse in the project and engage with key stakeholders. Can possibly have a little flexibility with this. Navigate ambiguous or undefined project areas, especially since each smart building presents unique challenges. Foster collaboration and innovation by partnering with a think tank group to exchange and develop creative solutions. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in applications or system integration projects. Strong understanding of user experience (UX) and human-centered design principles. Ability to work in fast-paced environments and handle high-level business processes and requirements. Experience in Agile project management with a focus on MVP development. Proficiency in Visio for creating process maps and documentation. Comfortable working onsite, engaging with teams, and leading workshops. Ability to operate in grey spaces with limited structure and navigate unique challenges that come with smart building projects. Nice-to-Have: Experience in smart building systems or technology, though not required, is highly beneficial.
