Collaborate with product managers, front-end engineers, and other stakeholders to define system architecture and requirements. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to industry best practices. Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues and bugs in production systems. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve systems and processes. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in backend development with a strong focus on Java and Kotlin. Proficient in building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum). Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Preferred Qualifications Experience with reactive programming and frameworks (e.g., Spring WebFlux). Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools. Familiarity with GraphQL and message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ). Contribution to open-source projects or community involvement.
