Contract Duration: 6 months Onsite, Hybrid, Location: Reading, PA or Tampa, FL; Hybrid model (3 days/week in office) Work Hours: 8am-5pm Start Date: Oct 14th or 21st Description: Performance Testing Requirements Key Responsibilities: 7+ Years of performance testing experience. Experience leading geographically diverse teams. Good communication skills. Well-versed in Development and testing Life Cycle and methodologies. Experience in coaching & mentoring new team members. Develop Non-Functional Requirements based on the application/system needs while collaborating with application, testing and development teams. Develop estimations based on scope of work. Collaborate with application teams, system administrators and platform teams to coordinate system upgrades/patching schedule. Collaborate with Development and QA teams to understand the test data requirements for the load test executions. Knowledgeable in networking, virtualization, distributed systems, cloud, and container platform. Experience with understanding and developing testing strategy based on underlying application & system architecture and design. Tooling: Experienced with JMeter, Load Runner, cloud-based tools, mobile performance testing tools & simulators. Experience with performance testing containerized platforms. Experienced in Agile performance testing, working in close coordination with Agile teams. Experienced in maintaining and developing regression performance test suite. Experience in Windows, Unix and Linux operations systems. Basic SQL knowledge. Develop performance test strategy. Experience developing and implementing test plans. Good Knowledge on various load testing types like Smoke testing, load testing, Endurance and Volume testing. Experienced in implementing workload modeling techniques. Experienced in using APM tools. Expertise in Creating and Enhancing the scripts using Load Runner/JMeter. Experience identifying performance bottlenecks and disseminating the findings to application/system teams. Analyze the performance testing results and provide the necessary recommendations for the performance improvements. Ensure performance test results are documented and are reviewed with the respective stakeholders. Experience in using Jira and Confluence to track and store the performance testing activities. Ability to learn new tools and technologies on the job.
