Role- Oracle Data Architect Location- Remote Position type- Contract (c2c/ w2 /1099) Exp - 12+ Years Job Summary: We are looking for a highly experienced Data Architect with a background in Oracle development, Oracle PL/SQL, and expertise in Amazon Redshift. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data architectures that integrate seamlessly with Oracle and AWS environments. You will play a key role in building scalable data solutions, ensuring data reliability, accessibility, and performance across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Data Architecture & Design: Design, develop, and maintain scalable data architecture solutions that bridge Oracle, Amazon Redshift, and cloud environments. Architect complex database schemas and data models to support advanced analytics, business intelligence, and reporting requirements. Data Pipeline Development & Integration: Create and manage efficient ETL/ELT processes to ensure smooth data migration between Oracle databases, Redshift, and other AWS services. Develop and optimize PL/SQL and SQL-based data extraction, transformation, and loading processes using Oracle and Redshift. Integrate multiple data sources, including structured and unstructured data, into the data warehouse from third-party APIs, web services, and internal systems. Data Warehouse Management: Lead the development and optimization of large-scale data warehouses, focusing on Amazon Redshift and Oracle. Optimize query performance, storage management, and partitioning in Redshift while enhancing Oracle PL/SQL query efficiency. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability through data quality checks and monitoring mechanisms. Cloud Infrastructure & Security: Design and manage data infrastructure in AWS Cloud, utilizing services like Redshift, S3, Lambda, EC2, and Glue. Implement data governance, security protocols, and compliance standards to ensure the safe handling of data in cloud environments. Collaboration & Support: Work closely with Data Scientists, BI teams, and analysts to support data-driven initiatives and provide insights from structured and unstructured data. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions align with business objectives and technical requirements. Education: Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Experience: 4+ years of experience as a Data Architect, with a focus on Oracle development and Redshift data solutions. Extensive experience working with Oracle databases, including PL/SQL, triggers, stored procedures, and performance optimization. Proven hands-on experience with Amazon Redshift, particularly in data modeling, query optimization, and schema design. Strong experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, and EC2, with a focus on integrating Redshift and Oracle-based systems. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL programming (procedures, functions, triggers, etc.). Strong knowledge of AWS data services, including Redshift, RDS, S3, and Glue. Expertise in designing and managing ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as Apache Airflow, AWS Glue, or Lambda functions. Deep understanding of data warehousing principles, partitioning, and performance optimization in Redshift and Oracle. Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and best practices for data governance and security. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Data Analytics Specialty. Familiarity with big data tools like Apache Spark or Hadoop. Experience with NoSQL databases and other modern data storage solutions.
