No Visa restrictions Description We seek a VMware Site Reliability Engineer to support, document, and maintain multi-platform VMware business requirements and recommend improvements and enhancements to our Austin, Texas client's IT Data Center operating environment. They review and support complex NSX-T configuration support to address those requirements needed. This includes developing and reviewing test plans, post-implementation maintenance plans, and knowledge transfer by creating detailed system documentation and/or training documentation. Additionally, this position is responsible for staying current on emerging networking technologies and methodologies, including Software Defined Networking (SDN), Next-Generation Network Monitoring, and Network Function Virtualization (NFV). This is a 9 months hybrid contract position in Austin, Texas, sometimes working remotely (from home) and other times in the office. Requirements Yrs Skills/Experience 6 Experience managing VMware vCenter server and ESXi 6.x hypervisor 3 Experience managing VMware NSX-T (SDDC) 8 Experience configuring, installing, and supporting Windows Server Operating Systems (Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016, 2019) 4 Experience managing VMware VDI Horizon Experience managing VMware VRops Experience managing VMware VRA 3 Experience managing VxRail or VSAN Readynodes Experience managing Cisco Unified Computing Systems (UCS) Preferred Yrs Skills/Experience 2 VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) Public Sector experience is a BIG plus.
