The ideal candidate should have a passion for building scalable data solutions and a deep understanding of Big Data technologies. Key Responsibilities: Optimize Spark jobs to handle large volumes of data efficiently. Utilize version control tools, such as Git, for managing codebases. Work extensively with Amazon Web Services (AWS) including: Analytics Services: Amazon EMR, Amazon Athena, AWS Glue. Compute Services: Amazon Lambda, Amazon EC2. Storage Services: S3, SNS, and other AWS services. Build ETL processes to handle various data formats, including CSV, TSV, XML, JSON, and more. Handle data in different file formats, such as fixed-width, delimited, and multi-record. Use columnar storage formats like Parquet, Avro, ORC, and implement compression techniques such as Snappy and Gzip. Collaborate on data warehousing projects and implement data models (e.g., star and snowflake schemas). Desired Skills and Experience: Experience: 3+ to 6+years in IT with hands-on experience in Big Data technologies. Technical Skills: Experience with AWS services (Amazon EMR, Athena, Glue, Lambda, EC2, S3, SNS). Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, including dimensions, facts, and schema design. Experience with columnar storage formats and compression techniques. Knowledge of at least one AWS database service (e.g., Aurora, RDS, Redshift, ElastiCache, DynamoDB) is a plus. Familiarity with bash/shell scripting is advantageous Plus: GCP Exp. Is a plus .
