Familiar with Redhat, CentOS and Ubuntu operating systems. Proficient with Linux command-line (CLI). Familiarity with Linux network configuration and troubleshooting. Understanding of protocols such as SSH, SFTP, FTP, HTTP, LDAP and DNS where the Linux operating system is concerned. Basic understanding of virtual environments such as VMware. Familiar with upgrading and patching of Linux operating systems. Familiar with package management tools like YUM, DNF and/or APT.
