Job Description: ROLE: Azure Infrastructure Architect LOCATION: Houston, TX (On-site presence required 2-3 days per week) TYPE: Long term contract Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with a strong focus on Azure infrastructure and enterprise architecture. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of various cloud services, SaaS models, and best practices for implementation and landing. Primary Skills: Infrastructure Architecture (70-80%): Designing and implementing robust Azure infrastructure solutions. Leading cloud migration initiatives from on-premises and other cloud environments to Azure. Ensuring best practices in security, compliance, and performance across cloud services. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to establish enterprise architecture frameworks that align with business goals. Collaboration and DevOps (20-30%): Working closely with DevOps teams to streamline deployment processes and improve CI/CD pipelines. Facilitating knowledge sharing and training for teams on Azure services and infrastructure best practices. Identifying opportunities for process improvements within the cloud infrastructure. Qualifications: Proven experience in Azure infrastructure architecture and enterprise-level solution design. Strong understanding of cloud migration strategies and methodologies. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills: Experience with various cloud services, SaaS solutions, and enterprise architecture principles. Knowledge of compliance and security standards in cloud environments.
