The Architect will be responsible for designing and deploying SAM and WPM across 100 servers and 6applications, ensuring a robust and scalable monitoring framework that meets the organization's performance and availability requirements. Key responsibilities Architecture Design and Planning: o Lead the architectural design for implementing SolarWinds SAM and WPM .o Develop a detailed monitoring strategy tailored to the organizations infrastructure, covering all servers, applications, and associated processes. o Ensure that the architecture is scalable and optimized for performance. Implementation Oversight :o Oversee the installation, configuration, and deployment of SolarWinds SAM across 100 servers. o Evaluate and implement SolarWinds WPM to monitor web applications, including setting up synthetic transactions and performance metrics. o Ensure the successful deployment of Orion Agents across the server environment. o Configure and fine-tune monitoring templates for each application and associated processes. Technical Leadership :o Provide hands-on technical leadership during the implementation phase .o Ensure that best practices are followed during the configuration and deployment of SAM and WPM. o Address and resolve any technical challenges that arise during the implementation process. o Customize monitoring templates, dashboards, and reports according to the organizations needs. Scripting and Automation :o Develop and implement scripts for SolarWinds WPM to simulate user interactions with web applications. o Create and manage scripts for synthetic transactions, ensuring Page 2 of 2they accurately reflect user behaviour and application workflows .o Use scripting to automate repetitive tasks within the monitoring environment, improving efficiency and accuracy. Testing and Validation :o Lead the testing and validation of the Solar Winds implementation to ensure accurate data collection, alerting, and reporting. o Perform load and performance testing to confirm that the system can handle the anticipated workload. o Work with stakeholders to validate that the implementation meets all functional requirements. Documentation and Training :o Develop comprehensive documentation of the implemented monitoring architecture, configurations, and processes. o Provide training and knowledge transfer sessions to the IT team, ensuring they are equipped to manage the Solar Winds environment post-implementation.
