Job Description - Oracle Apex Developer Remote 12 Months Client: Office of Consumer Credit Commissioner Working Title: Oracle Apex Developer The primary work location(s) will be at Remote Work. The working position is Telework The Office of Consumer Credit Commissioner (OCCC) requires an Oracle APEX developer ( Developer or Successful Respondent ) to design and build an application for future regulatory needs. The Developer is responsible for taking system designs and transforming them into a functional application on the Oracle APEX platform. This involves interpreting system specifications and collaborating with business analysts and stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding of the requirements. The Developer will need to develop a custom APEX application, ensuring that specified business needs are met. The Developer will need to write and optimize SQL and PL/SQL scripts to support application functionality and ensure efficient and secure data handling. Additionally, the Developer will be responsible for integrating daily uploads from current systems into the APEXapplication, ensuring seamless data synchronization and accessibility. The Developer will ensure that the application complies with industry standards, security policies, and best practices, including robust data protection measures. OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Oracle APEX Developer Certified Expert Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate Minimum Requirements: 8yrs Required Web Technologies: Basic to intermediate knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for front-end development. 3yrs Required Oracle APEX: Proficiency in Oracle Application Express (APEX) for developing web applications. 3yrs Required Oracle SQL and PL/SQL: Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL for data modeling and PL/SQL for backend programming. 3yrs Required Database Management: Experience with Oracle Database management and optimization. 3yrs Required APEX Plugins: Familiarity with using and integrating APEX plugins to extend application functionality. TERMS OF SERVICE Services are expected to start 10/15/2024 and are expected to complete by 01/31/2025. Total estimated hours per Candidate shall not exceed 400 hours. This service may be amended, renewed, and/or extended providing both parties agree to do so in writing.
