Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology or related technical discipline is highly desired. Cisco, CompTIA, Microsoft, or VMware certifications are a plus. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Advanced comprehension of the OSI Model and its application for troubleshooting. Understanding of Network Protocols and technologies such as, STP, OSPF, BGP, VPN, 802.1X Knowledge and experience implementing Access Control Lists (ACLs) Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, Routing, Firewalls, Network Security). Knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Windows Server 2008/2012, IIS, Clustering, and Exchange. Knowledge of VMware virtualization platform. Strong technical and computer skills.
