| Hi Team, We have a new position with our client. Role: Mid-Level to Senior Android Developer Retail Banking UI Engineering Location: San Leandro, CA (3-4 days onsite) Contract: 6-month commitment Compensation: $80/hour on C2C Openings: 2-3 positions Citizenship: U.S. Citizens and Green Card holders only Note: Candidates must confirm they have not been submitted for this role in the past 6 months. If possible, prioritize candidates with a financial services background. If they don't have financial experience, look for candidates who have worked on apps used by millions of end users. Relevant industries could include retail, finance, EV, or healthcare. We are seeking experienced Mid-Level to Senior Android Developers to join our Retail Banking UI Engineering team. In this role, you will help develop a high-performance consumer-facing Android app, ensuring a seamless and secure experience for millions of retail banking customers. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and innovations. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a secure, high-performance Android app serving millions of users. Collaborate with product managers and designers to enhance the user experience. Write clean, maintainable code using Kotlin and Java, following best practices. Optimize app performance and responsiveness through performance tuning. Integrate backend services with RESTful APIs. Ensure compliance with security and privacy standards. Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews. Stay current with Android development trends and apply new technologies. Qualifications: 5+ years of Android development experience. Strong proficiency in Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, and Material Design. Experience integrating RESTful APIs and backend services. Familiarity with Git, Agile environments, and Android Studio. Knowledge of mobile security best practices. Experience writing Unit Tests and UI Tests. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android architecture patterns. Previous experience in the banking or financial services industry. Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and CI/CD pipelines.
