| From: Vijay, 3ktechnologies [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title: Engineering Lead (Audio Engineering and Tool Development) Location: Seattle, WA (On-site) Job Summary: The Audio Engineering Lead will focus on the audio processing and tuning aspects of the web-hosted Audio Tuning tool being developed for ODM partners. You will be responsible for leading the development of core audio algorithms, ensuring that the tool meets all acoustic standards required for Amazon's Lab 126 projects. This role will also involve working closely with Amazons audio engineers and product developers to ensure a seamless integration of audio features into their workflows. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and implementation of audio processing algorithms and tuning features within the web-based tool. Collaborate with ODM partners and Amazons internal teams to define key performance metrics for audio processing and tuning. Develop audio-specific features such as equalization, sound field tuning, and voice clarity optimization. Ensure compatibility of the tool with various hardware platforms used by the ODMs. Work closely with the web development team to ensure seamless integration of audio features within the web application. Conduct rigorous testing of audio features to ensure adherence to Amazons acoustic performance standards. Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in audio technology to drive innovation in the tool. Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor's or master's degree in Audio Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in audio processing, algorithm development, or related fields. Strong background in developing audio applications and techniques. Experience with audio development platforms and languages (e.g., C++, Python). Familiarity with hardware interfacing and performance tuning of audio systems. Experience with web-based audio applications and cloud hosting is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and manage technical risks.
