Job Title: Wireless Mesh Certification Tester Location: Philadelphia, PA (Work from Office) Duration: Long Term Contract Job Description: The feature Tester/system tester has end-to-end responsibility for the testing of specific sub-functional domains/areas (e.g. OAM, Orchestration, Automation, Mobility, etc.) within the 5G solutions team. This includes developing test cases/procedures of modules/functionality, translating functional and non-functional system requirements to functional/system test cases. In collaboration with System engineers, program managers, developers identifies the scope and priority of development Epics to be validated. Has end-to-end responsibility for the features in his/her domain and works with development & system engineering, to make sure integration and validation of feature/functionality is completed and verified according to functional/non-functional requirement. Works with multiple team teams during early phases to understand technical studies and validate prototypes. Understanding of communication theory and key metrics like EVM and sensitivity. Experience using and understanding of the theory of operation of lab equipment (spectrum analyzer, signal generator, network analyzer, power meter). Experience debugging test automation including equipment drivers, debug tools, automation scripts, database interfaces, and reporting tools. Knowledge in existing wireless communication protocols: LTE/WCDMA/GSM, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be, 802.11ad/ay or Bluetooth/BLE.
