| Role: Sr. Java Backend Web Developer Location: Austin TX (Hybrid) Local Role - Sr. Java Backend Web Developer to assist with building a custom in-house application. they are looking for an A-plus developer. Location - This is a hybrid role (2-3 days/week onsite). Only candidates living in or near Austin. You must have extensive knowledge of stateless applications and associating security controls. Possesses excellent communication skills, exhibits sound judgment, and maintains code development standards. This person must have a keen eye for design and attention to detail, which are the driving forces behind their code-based and unit tests. Stellar communication skills. Minimum requirements: 8+ years of experience as a backend web developer 7 + years of experience designing and coding full-stack applications using Java. 7+ years of experience with the Spring Boot framework Experience implementing API service architecture, making Restful API calls with JSON response using Spring Boot with Microservices and RedHat Open shift Must have Splunk training to help traverse logs and debug Must have Dynatrace training for monitoring. The client needs to ensure the worker can be able to understand to help moderate the platform and ensure the app is not having issues. 5+ years of experience working in Microservices environment developing RESTful API endpoints in Microservices environment 4 + years of experience writing Unit and E2E tests to ensure 100% test coverage Experience with serverless/stateless applications you must have experience with serverless type applications and be able to work in stateless applications, deal with token verifications, etc. Experience with complete system documentation. Experience with Bitbucket 2+ years of experience working in Agile, Scrum, and Kanban teams. Experience with Mockito for unit testing of Java Applications Experience working with OpenShift by RedHat Experience presenting to business / non-technical customers Preferred Experience: Experience with Java 1.8+ MuleSoft 4+ years of experience in application design for mobile-first web applications including HTML5, CSS3, and the Bootstrap framework 3+ years of experience utilizing the JavaScript Webpack Bundler Experience with mobile-first development concepts Experience with 508-compliance, specifically for responsive design/mobile. An understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture and microservices.
