Client: AstraZeneca Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual with extensive experience in R&D lab operations, LIMs impact assessment, and Digital Lab platform integrations to join our team as a Business Analyst/Project Manager. This role will play a pivotal part in supporting the expansion of our R&D lab and the relocation of our site, requiring close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of this critical project, including considerations for Digital Lab platform impact and integrations extending beyond the specific site. Key Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth analysis of current R&D lab operations, including the assessment of LIMs and Digital Lab platform impact, to identify requirements and opportunities for improvement in the context of the lab expansion and site move. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document comprehensive business and functional requirements for the new lab facility, with a specific focus on LIMs and Digital Lab platform integration and optimization, considering integrations that extend beyond the specific site. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for the R&D lab expansion and site relocation, ensuring thorough consideration of LIMs, Digital Lab platform, and external integrations requirements and implications. Lead project meetings, effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders, and proactively manage LIMs, Digital Lab platform, and external integrations-related project risks and issues. Coordinate with internal and external partners, vendors, and contractors to oversee the design, construction, and outfitting of the new lab facility, ensuring seamless integration with the LIMs, Digital Lab platform, and external systems. Drive change management efforts, particularly related to LIMs, Digital Lab platform, and external system transitions, to ensure a smooth and efficient adaptation for employees and stakeholders impacted by the site move and integrations beyond the specific site. Track and report project progress, milestones, and key performance indicators, with a specific focus on LIMs, Digital Lab platform, and external system implementation and functionality, to senior management and project sponsors. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in business administration, Project Management, or related field; PMP certification is a plus. Proven experience in business analysis, project management, and leading complex cross-functional projects, particularly within the pharmaceutical or R&D industry with a focus on LIMs, Digital Lab platform impact assessment, and external system integrations. Strong understanding of laboratory operations, facility requirements, and regulatory compliance in a research and development environment, with specific expertise in LIMs, Digital Lab platform, and external system assessment and integration. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to navigate LIMs, Digital Lab platform, and external system-related complexities and requirements. Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar applications. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities effectively, particularly in the context of LIMs, Digital Lab platform, and external system impact assessment and management.
