Business Data Analyst 10-12yrs-New York City /Jersey City NJ /Pittsburgh PA-Hybrid-Onsite H1 and H4 EAD with passport no JOB DESCRIPTION: HYBRID ONSITE 3 days from any one of the locations New York City /Jersey City NJ /Pittsburgh PA Senior Business Data Analyst This is not the regular DA with reporting/visualization tools Preference given for locals and those immediate joiners. Must have excellent communication Finance preferably payments Strong SQL create modify scripts Very good Communication skill ability to work with multiple departments and stakeholders Techno Functional: Analyze complex and large datasets to provide insights that drive business decisions and optimize processes. Considering the data volume, needs Excellent background on SQL for analyzing the datasets. Needs to have a good understanding of building Data makes/ Data marts/ data engineering pipelines. Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing solutions. Should be able to relate the data to the business functionality and hence, knowledge of Payments would be greatly helpful. *Finance Domain* Should be able to take a one-liner requirement and build details around it. Needs to be able to identify and define impactful metrics. Assist in the design and implementation of data-driven solutions, working closely with developers and data engineers. Should be able to see the big picture and break it down to smaller achievable goals. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions and suggest enhancements. Agile: Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, providing input on project scope and prioritization. Create user stories, use cases, and process flows to facilitate communication between business and technical teams. Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence). Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset. Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document business requirements and technical specifications.
