| Performance Test Lead No H1 Location - Anton MA Hybrid / remote EST Candidates Job Summary We are looking for a highly experienced Performance Test Lead with over 10 years of expertise in performance testing to spearhead our testing initiatives. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of performance testing methodologies, tools, and best practices, along with exceptional leadership skills to guide and mentor a team of testers. This role is critical in ensuring that our software applications meet the highest performance standards. Key Responsibilities Strategic Test Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive performance test strategies that align with business goals and technical requirements. Performance Testing Leadership: Lead the design, execution, and analysis of load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests to assess system performance under various conditions. Root Cause Analysis: Investigate performance issues, analyze results, and provide detailed reports with actionable insights to development teams and stakeholders. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with development, QA, operations, and product management teams to troubleshoot performance-related issues and drive improvements. Team Development: Mentor and coach team members on performance testing best practices, tools, and techniques to build a high-performing testing team. Tool Evaluation and Implementation: Assess and recommend new performance testing tools and technologies to enhance testing capabilities. Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in performance testing to continuously improve processes. Required Skills and Qualifications Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in performance testing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing testing teams. Technical Expertise: Proficient in leading performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar. Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, or Python for test scripting. In-depth knowledge of database systems (e.g., SQL) and application architecture. Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide clear recommendations. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective reporting and collaboration across teams. Experience working within Agile development environments and familiarity with CI/CD practices. Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure) and their impact on application performance. Relevant certifications in performance testing (e.g., ISTQB Advanced Level) are highly desirable. Work Environment This position may offer flexible work arrangements including remote work options.
