| Hi ALL, NEED LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY Max Rate - $50/hr on C2C Role:-ETL TESTER /Data Warehouse QA Analyst/Engineer Location:-Hybrid (50% onsite in Wilmington, MA) Duration:-12+ months Overview : Skilled and experienced Data Warehouse QA Analyst/Engineer with a strong background in manual and automation testing, and a proven track record in leading QA initiatives. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience with Microsoft technologies, ETL processes, and data warehouse testing. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest quality standards are met across web-based and data-driven applications. The ideal DW QA engineer comes with relevant manufacturing, supply chain (invoice, billing, revenue, product, customer, route) data set QA experience. Key Responsibilities: 1. Data & ETL Testing : o Conduct extensive data testing, validating ETL processes, and ensuring data accuracy/reconciliation, integrity, and consistency across data warehouses and server upgrade project. o Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate data across databases, ensuring correct data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) operations. o Design, develop, and implement comprehensive test plans, test strategies, test scenarios, and test cases. o Execute both manual and automated test cases. o Perform end-to-end testing of SSIS packages, ETL jobs, and data transformations to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of data across various platforms. 2. Defect Management : o Use tools like Jira for defect tracking, test case management, and test execution. o Collaborate with development teams for defect triage, ensuring timely resolution of bugs and issues. 3. Documentation & Reporting : o Prepare detailed test documentation including test plans, test reports, and user manuals. o Provide regular status reports to stakeholders and management, ensuring transparency on QA progress. 4. Lead Other QA Initiatives : o Lead the QA process for multiple projects, ensuring alignment with the organization's quality objectives. o Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in data, ETL, and data warehouses. 1. Collaboration : o Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners in Agile environments to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality releases. o Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning sessions to provide QA insights and identify potential risks. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Experience: 7-10 years of experience in software testing, including both manual and automation testing. Experience working on SQL server versions 2017,2019, 2022 Proven experience with Microsoft technologies (SSMS) or Toad IDE and testing of ETL processes and data warehouses. Extensive experience with T-SQL for database testing and data validation. Strong SQL skills for data validation, especially with supply chain datasets (invoice, billing, revenue, product, customer, route, contracts, inventory, logistics, procurement). Extensive experience with Data warehouse concepts and architecture. Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies. Technical Skills: Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for database validation. Good to have experience with cloud-based testing on any AWS, Azure or Oracle. Familiarity with tools like GIT, Zephyr, Confluence, and Power BI.
