This role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines and infrastructure solutions that support our data-driven initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of AWS services, particularly in the realms of data engineering and cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Data Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines using AWS Glue and AWS Lambda to support data ingestion, transformation, and storage. Infrastructure Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and implement robust data infrastructure solutions that ensure high availability, reliability, and security. Data Integration: Utilize tools and frameworks to integrate diverse data sources, ensuring seamless data flow and consistency across various systems. Programming and Scripting: Write high-quality, efficient code in Python, SQL, and PySpark to manipulate and process large datasets, implement ETL processes, and automate data workflows. Performance Optimization: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines and infrastructure to enhance performance and reduce latency. Collaboration: Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs. Technical Skills and Qualifications: Experience: 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on AWS technologies and data pipeline development. AWS Expertise: Proficiency in AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, and other AWS services (e.g., S3, Redshift, RDS, DynamoDB) relevant to data engineering. Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark for data manipulation and ETL processes. Data Warehousing: Experience with data warehousing concepts and solutions, particularly in designing and implementing ETL workflows. Big Data Technologies: Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.
