Please let me know if you are interested in the position below Title: Sr. Network Engineer III Location:Hybrid(Overland Park,Kansas) Duration: 6 months contract Visa Restrictions: No H1b/CPT Job Description: Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and manage network infrastructure solutions using Cisco, SD-WAN, Palo Alto, Meraki, Zscaler, and Zero Trust technologies. Develop and implement network security strategies, including firewalls, VPNs, and secure access solutions, to protect against internal and external threats. Configure and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and availability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure network solutions. Perform network capacity planning, performance tuning, and optimization. Create and maintain detailed network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and policies. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve the network infrastructure. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior network engineers and other IT staff. Participate in on-call rotation and respond to network incidents as needed. Required Experience and Skills: Preferred Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in network engineering and administration. Expert-level knowledge and hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies (CCNP or higher certification preferred). Extensive experience with SD-WAN solutions. Strong proficiency in configuring and managing Palo Alto firewalls. Experience with Meraki cloud-managed networking solutions. Proficiency in implementing and managing Zscaler security solutions. Deep understanding of Zero Trust security principles and frameworks. Proven track record of designing and implementing complex network solutions. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with network automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible) is a plus.
