| From: Mohd Niyaz, sibitalent [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Sr. Network Engineer III Overland Park, Kansas Rate: $60-65/hr Description: The Sr. Network Engineer III will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of our client's enterprise network solutions, with a strong emphasis on Cisco technologies, SD-WAN, Palo Alto, Meraki, Zscaler, and Zero Trust security frameworks. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, deploy, and manage network infrastructure solutions using Cisco, SD-WAN, Palo Alto, Meraki, Zscaler, and Zero Trust technologies. - Develop and implement network security strategies, including firewalls, VPNs, and secure access solutions, to protect against internal and external threats. - Configure and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. - Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and availability. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure network solutions. - Perform network capacity planning, performance tuning, and optimization. - Create and maintain detailed network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and policies. - Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve the network infrastructure. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior network engineers and other IT staff. - Participate in on-call rotation and respond to network incidents as needed. Additional Skills & Qualifications: - Preferred Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. - Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in network engineering and administration. - Expert-level knowledge and hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies (CCNP or higher certification preferred). - Extensive experience with SD-WAN solutions. - Strong proficiency in configuring and managing Palo Alto firewalls. - Experience with Meraki cloud-managed networking solutions. - Proficiency in implementing and managing Zscaler security solutions. - Deep understanding of Zero Trust security principles and frameworks. - Proven track record of designing and implementing complex network solutions. - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Experience with network automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible) is a plus.
