Role: AEM QE (Quality Engineer) Resource Work Location: Remote 10+ years Experience Mandatory. Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled AEM QE (Quality Engineer) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and quality assurance practices to ensure the highest standards of performance, scalability, and reliability in our AEM-based applications. This role involves working closely with development teams to define testing strategies and implement automated and manual tests to deliver high-quality AEM solutions. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for AEM applications, focusing on functionality, usability, performance, and security. Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for AEM-based solutions. Implement automated test scripts for AEM applications using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or other test automation frameworks. Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to identify and resolve defects and bugs early in the development process. Develop and maintain a comprehensive suite of automated tests to ensure continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) practices. Validate AEM components, templates, workflows, and custom functionalities to ensure alignment with business requirements and performance goals. Work with cross-functional teams to understand the technical requirements and translate them into test cases and scenarios. Conduct performance testing to evaluate the efficiency, scalability, and stability of AEM implementations. Ensure testing best practices and methodologies are followed throughout the project lifecycle. Provide clear documentation and reports on testing activities, issues, and results. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. Proven experience as a Quality Engineer or QA Tester, with a focus on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). Experience in developing and executing both manual and automated test cases for AEM applications. Strong knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.). Proficient in testing AEM components, templates, authoring features, workflows, and AEM-specific functionalities. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience in working in an Agile/Scrum development environment. Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus. Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with Jenkins or similar tools for automated build and testing. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud-based AEM deployments (e.g., AEM as a Cloud Service or AEM Managed Services). Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and testing web applications. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and testing API integrations. Experience with version control systems (Git) and bug tracking tools (Jira).
