Job Title: Cloud Data Conversion Lead Location: Remote Job Type: Contract Must Have 11+ Years of Experience. Job Description: Will be responsible for the overall data conversion activities across ERP & Procurement subject areas (Payables, Receivables, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Projects, Expenses, Purchasing & Contracts) . The data could be sourced from various legacy systems. The Conversion Lead will be responsible for driving the conversion data mapping workshops, transformation requirements and selection criteria mappings for data extraction. Demonstrated in Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle FBDI File-Based Data Import, Oracle Cloud ERP and Procurement, Knowledge on Webservices SOAP and Oracle BI Publisher Developing an understanding of a clients current state legacy process and developing future state conversion data recommendations. Data Migration Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive data migration strategy for the Oracle ERP Cloud project, considering data cleansing, transformation, and validation. Defining new and refining existing business processes. Advanced understanding of ERP tables, data models & Subject Areas for the modules within ERP & Procurement Data Mapping and Transformation: Coordinate data mapping rules and oversee data transformation activities to ensure data quality and integrity during migration. Data Validation: Develop and implement data validation processes to verify the accuracy and completeness of migrated data. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of data conversion processes, including mapping, validation, and reconciliation procedures. Communication: Responsible for key communication to project leadership for the data conversion efforts. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to data conversion, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and data integrity. Testing and Quality Assurance: Coordinate testing activities to validate the success of data migration and resolve any issues that may arise. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with Oracle ERP Cloud best practices and recommend process improvements to enhance data conversion efficiency. Must be able to drive and lead the data conversion strategies and deliverables and keep the data conversion workstream on schedule. Managing a technical project delivery and leading project onsite and offshore technical teams. Contributing to continuous improvement and development of internal processes and intellectual property. The person should have deep knowledge on conversion areas and map the data from legacy system to Oracle Cloud ERP applications. Providing support to the development of training materials and training activities related to the BI tools and applications. Demonstrated ability presenting to small work groups on both technical and functional requirements. Team oriented with good interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers and internal customers. The ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
